Roxanne Rajcoomar-Hadden began her journey in fine jewellery as a Diamond Grader for De Beers and Theo Fennell, before finding her calling in reimagining heirlooms with a modern, meaningful touch. Known for her intuitive eye and deep respect for storytelling, she built a brand rooted in trust, craftsmanship, and legacy.
In 2013, she launched her eponymous label—where timeless design meets ethical luxury, creating Everyday Statement jewellery. All RRH jewellery is crafted using ethically sourced gemstones and SMO (Single Mine Origin) gold, ensuring complete transparency and responsibility from mine to market.
A Sotheby’s Brilliant & Black designer and passionate advocate for inclusivity, Roxanne founded the RRH Diamonds Academy in partnership with the Natural Diamond Council to support and empower young designers from the global majority.
She designs for bold, multi-faceted women who lead with intention. Roxanne lives in West London with her family, mentors emerging designers. As a strong woman, mother and designer, Roxanne believes in being the architect of one’s life. Through the Milestones and experiences of life, we build pillars that embody the beautiful memories and stories that define us. Roxanne believes it is those very pillars that empower us to be bold.
I started RRH after working at Bvlgari and spending a year living in Australia, where I was inspired by the way people celebrated and supported independent designers. It was the first time I truly saw jewellery that felt personal—pieces that resonated with me and the women around me.
I realised there was space for a brand that spoke to our generation — one that told real stories, reflected our journeys, and celebrated individuality. RRH began with a series of culinary-inspired designs, influenced by my travels through Australia and Southeast Asia. What started as playful pieces rooted in memory and culture evolved into a brand built on meaning, intention, and modern heirlooms.
I love working in the fashion industry because….
It allows me to tell meaningful stories through jewellery while also driving positive change. I get to create pieces that mark life’s milestones, honour personal histories, and truly speak to the wearer. Beyond design, it’s a platform to advocate for responsible sourcing and conscious buying—encouraging one-time purchases that hold real value and longevity. For me, fashion is not just about style, but about impact, intention, and legacy – it empowers us to be our most authentic self.
RRH Jewellery is best known for…
creating jewellery that tells meaningful stories—pieces that mark life’s defining moments and are designed to be worn every day. My Milestone collection is all about honouring the journey—celebrating the highs, navigating the lows, and recognising the chapters that shape us.
Each piece is crafted to carry memory and meaning, with the ability to add diamonds over time to mark new milestones. It’s a way for the wearer to build their story in precious form—beautifully, intentionally, and with pride.
My biggest achievement to date is…
Has to be exhibiting my collection at Sotheby’s as part of the Brilliant & Black exhibition. The theme was Enlightenment, which resonated so deeply with me—both creatively and personally. To be showcased alongside such trailblazing Black designers, in a space that has historically overlooked our contributions, was incredibly powerful. It was a moment of visibility, validation, and celebration—not just for my work, but for the stories and values behind it.
We’re inspired by…
The stories we carry and the journeys we go on throughout life. My son often asks me, “What is the meaning of life?”—and while my answer changes from day to day, the core remains the same: to live fully, to embrace each moment as if it were our last. That philosophy feeds directly into my design style—creating everyday statement jewellery that’s meant to be worn, lived in, and loved.
I’m also inspired by the impact we leave behind—on the planet, on people, and through the stories embedded in each piece. For me, jewellery is not just adornment—it’s legacy, it’s responsibility, and it’s a reflection of how we choose to show up in the world.
The current trends we’re loving are…
The shift toward greater responsibility and awareness across the industry. It’s encouraging to see clients becoming more conscious—not just about what they’re buying, but about how and where it’s made. There’s a real desire to do good and create a positive impact, especially in producer countries, and that’s incredibly inspiring.
More and more people are asking questions, talking about the industry’s impact on the world, and choosing to buy with intention. That level of awareness is a trend I hope never fades.
Our favourite pieces from the collection are…
Are always the ones that resonate most deeply with my clients—but personally, a few pieces hold very special meaning.
I designed the Ren Earrings to wear while giving birth to my son. Although I had to take them off for an emergency c-section, they still represent so much joy—bright, colourful, and packed with memories.
Then there’s the Zigi Ring, which I created in December 2020 as a delivery gift to myself. It was during our second lockdown, a time of deep uncertainty, and I needed something to bring light and hope. The ring, set with a warm citrine to represent sunshine, did just that. Now, four years on, it reflects my daughter perfectly—she lights up every room she walks into.
I’ve since reimagined the Zigi design for clients, offering the same style with healing stones that hold personal significance—allowing them to carry their own light, energy, and story.
My favourite place in the world to skip the crowds is…
Strawberry Hill Hotel Jamaica
The best person to follow on Instagram for big-day inspo is…
And finally, what’s next for RRH Jewellery?
I’m focusing on creating jewellery that not only tells a story but also supports the wearer in their daily life. I’m exploring the use of healing stones in a more intentional way—designing functional pieces that bring emotional balance, strength, and energy to the everyday.
Staying true to my love for everyday statement jewellery, each new piece will feature stones chosen not just for their beauty, but for their ability to uplift and empower. Jewellery that looks good, feels good, and does good—that’s the future of RRH.
