From a heartfelt family-led ceremony in the Cotswolds to an intimate reception near Gatcombe Park, step inside Peter Phillips and Harriet Phillips wedding celebration.
The Story So Far
Mr Peter Phillips and Mrs Harriet Phillips were married on 6th June 2026 in an intimate ceremony at All Saints Church in Kemble, Gloucestershire. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, the couple celebrated in the heart of the Cotswolds with a day that balanced family traditions, elegant design and a distinctly English sense of occasion.
Harriet’s brother, Nicholas Sanders, walked her down the aisle in honour of their late father, Rupert Sanders, while the couple’s daughters, Savannah Phillips, Isla Phillips and Georgina Sperling, played a special role as bridesmaids. Following the ceremony, guests gathered at Gatcombe Park for a private reception hosted by HRH The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Lawrence.

Venue
The wedding ceremony took place at All Saints Church in Kemble, a beautiful Gloucestershire church surrounded by rolling Cotswold countryside. Following the service, family and friends travelled to nearby Gatcombe Park, the country home of HRH The Princess Royal, where celebrations continued in a private reception setting.
The combination of a traditional English church ceremony and a countryside reception created a timeless backdrop for the day, with guests enjoying an intimate gathering centred around family, friendship and celebration.
Fashion
Harriet wore a bespoke gown by Emilia Wickstead, created in the designer’s West London atelier. Crafted from Italian crêpe and internally structured with French lace, the gown featured Emilia Wickstead’s signature clean lines and sculptural silhouette. A dramatic train, square neckline and low back gave the design a modern elegance, while a removable lace bodice, created from archival Sophie Hallette lace dating back to the early 1900s, added softness and romance.
The lace bodice featured a high neckline, sheer sleeves and intricate floral motifs, with beautifully positioned scalloped detailing and domed buttons providing the finishing touches.
Peter wore a classic morning suit by Savile Row tailors Dege & Skinner, a fitting choice given the firm’s longstanding connection to the Phillips family.
Jewellery
Harriet completed her bridal look with earrings by Pragnell London and the Pragnell family tiara, bringing together contemporary craftsmanship and family heritage.
Bridal Party
The couple’s daughters, Savannah Phillips, Isla Phillips and Georgina Sperling, served as bridesmaids in elegant Emilia Wickstead dresses, paired with earrings by Aspinal London.
Peter’s childhood friend Andrew Tucker took on the role of right hand man, while family members from both sides played important roles throughout the day.
Flowers
Flowers were designed by renowned floral artist Millie Richardson, who created abundant floral installations throughout both the church and reception.
Working with locally sourced and English grown blooms, Millie designed large scale floral archways and arrangements featuring a refined palette of white, ivory, cream and the softest blush tones. Seasonal roses, peonies, foxgloves, jasmine and flowering honeysuckle were woven amongst British greenery to create displays that felt natural and romantic.
Harriet carried a delicate bouquet of lily of the valley, sweet peas, astilbe and jasmine, finished with sprigs of myrtle. Included for its symbolism of love, beauty and peace, the myrtle reflected a tradition shared by both Harriet’s family and the Royal Family.
In keeping with the sustainable approach taken throughout the floral design, flowers from the church were later shared with members of the local community.
Reception
The reception at Gatcombe Park was organised by Peregrine Armstrong Jones and Caroline Armstrong Jones of Bentleys Entertainments, who have worked with members of the Royal Family for many years.
Set within the Gloucestershire countryside, the reception brought together family and close friends for a private celebration that reflected the couple’s preference for an intimate and personal day.
