From connecting through a mutual friend to their Chelsea wedding with a boho twist. Emily Daisy Coleridge and Nicholas James Coleridge give us an inside look at their Chelsea wedding.
The story so far
Nik and I first met through a mutual friend. There was definitely a spark, but he was actually taken at the time. Fast forward three years and fate brought us back together. We went on our first date (which I nearly cancelled) and I knew immediately that I was going to marry him. My mum had to remind me to play it cool. Typical me.
Nik and I both have slightly different versions of the story, but from what I’ve heard through our friends, he always had a soft spot for me. Apparently I was the one from the start.
Nik proposed in Central Park, New York, in February 2024. It was completely magical and a trip I’ll never forget. The ring is everything I ever dreamed of. A stunning parque diamond with pavé diamonds surrounding it and more along the gold band. The more diamonds the better in my opinion. Nik worked with Taylor & Hart to design it himself and secretly added a ruby on the inside of the band, my birthstone. It’s such a thoughtful touch.

The venue
We had our London ceremony at Chelsea Registry Office on the most perfect day. It had been pouring all week but the sun came out just for us. We were honestly so lucky.
The main wedding is happening at the end of May 2025 in Ibiza, our happy place. We’re planning a three-day celebration with the wedding itself at the dreamy Atzaró Hotel. It’s pure magic there. Everyone who knows me says there’s no way I could get married anywhere else and they’re right.

Fashion
Fashion is a huge part of my life. Whether it’s a work meeting or a night out, I’m very particular with my style. Most people would describe me as quite boho. Ibiza is so me.
For the London ceremony, I wore a two-piece from Zimmermann. A lace top and flowing skirt that struck the perfect balance of cool, elegant and boho. Fun fact: the top originally had long sleeves, which I impulsively cut off on the morning of the wedding. The sun was shining and I thought, why not? Everyone said only I would do that and they’re probably right.
My shoes were my trusty Castañers. Recycled, ridiculously comfy and just what I needed.
As for the dress for Ibiza. It’s being made bespoke by Annie’s Ibiza. I’m beyond excited.

Jewellery
My sister Lily gave me the most beautiful bespoke bracelet from APM Monaco, engraved with our wedding date. I wore it alongside my granny’s diamond bracelet, the first time I’ve worn it since she passed away. It felt really special to have a little piece of her with me.
I’ve got quite a few piercings and most of my earrings are from Monica Vinader or Missoma. A bit of sparkle, always.

Bridal party
This will all come to life in Ibiza. Think statement looks, personal touches and a vibe that’s very us.

Transportation
My parents surprised us with a vintage 1977 Rolls-Royce for the London wedding. It was so extra in the best way and made the whole day feel like something out of a film. We hired it through Graeme Hunt and it was absolutely immaculate.

Food & drink
We had the most delicious lunch for 45 at Frantoio by Bucci in Chelsea, one of our favourite Italians. Classic dishes, flowing wine and all our favourite people. What more could you want?

Beauty & wellness
In the run-up to the wedding, I had some amazing skincare help from Dr Farah Clinics. We tried a treatment called Jalupro which honestly worked wonders. My skin felt so glowy and fresh. Brides-to-be, I highly recommend it.

Advice
- Don’t stress. It’s your day.
- Have fun and enjoy every single second.
- You only do this once (hopefully) so make it exactly how you want it.
