Born in the United States, raised in Greece, to a Greek father and a Mexican – American mother, Anna Paola’s designs encompass her multi cultural upbringing. Informed perspectives on design, colouring, and ergonomics define the DNA of the Paolita brand. Anna Paola’s diverse array of influences informs her extensive research, which ranges from libraries, museums, archives, travels and endless sources of inspiration.
Paolita was founded in 2010 by Creative Director, Anna Paola, Paolita is synonymous with strong directional prints and silhouettes that are designed to enhance the body with a strong emphasis on comfort & fit. With a detailed and rigorous approach to the design and research process, each collection is laced with in depth historical and cultural references. All Paolita prints are also meticulously hand drawn and serve to give the brand a unique artisanal aesthetic which is synonymous with its DNA.

I love working in the fashion industry because….
It’s full of interesting people. I also love creating pieces that women will wear and cherish. It’s a wonderful way of connecting with people!
Paolita is best known for…
The way we tell stories through print. In each season we always embark on a journey where we try and experiment with colour and tell a story through our fabrics. We are also known for our amazing swimwear and resortwear!
My biggest achievement to date is…
I don’t know if there is one real big milestone or achievement. However, I have to say that I feel that I am lucky to be able to be fulfilled by my work, surround myself with amazing friends and have a wonderful family.
We’re inspired by ….
Modern Art at the moment. I recently went to The Broad in Los Angeles and I felt like I was in art heaven. So inspiring and moving!

My favourite pieces from the collection are…
The Cachito Celia Dress, we specially designed this fabric with an amazing fabric mill! It’s like a 3D print. The Tainted Love Riviera Kaftan for it’s placement print and hidden text and the Smoke and Mirrors Azania One Piece for it’s surrealist print depicting love.
My favourite place in the world to skip the crowds is…
Mykonos. Which is why I always try and go off season.
