We recently hosted the ultimate bridal beauty event to get our guests’ wedding ready. One of the most hotly-anticipated events to kick off the summer season, guests enjoyed a glittering celebration at our Summer Skincare Dinner with 111SKIN at The Bvlgari Hotel London.
It was an event full of all the glitz & glamour you would expect from The Wedding Edition, who had teamed up with 111Skin – the hottest skincare brand on the scene right now. There was a plethora of the highly effective, uber-innovative masks and products dotted around the suite for the cool crowd to sample. Guests enjoyed Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut and the 111SKin Summer Spritz by Malfy Gin whilst hearing how to get the ultimate bridal glow.
Perhaps it was the Champagne-filled bathtub with Belle Époque Rosé 2013 and 111SKIN Rose Gold Illuminating Eye Mask that lured in a glamorous bunch – the likes of actors Margaret Clunie, Nell Husdon, Lauren Lyle, singer Bambi Baines, TV presenter Zeena Shah, model Ikram Abdi , and some seriously gorgeous engaged girls like Anisa Sojka, Josie Fear, Francesca Newman-Young, Anna Van Der Hulst and Alexandra Dudley who mingled with the Founder, Dr. Yannis Alexandrides.
TWE.’s Beauty Director, Bandi Manzini hosted a pre-dinner panel to discuss why 111SKIN, the celebrity-adored skincare brand, is the go-to for getting the bridal glow. Guests discovered how 111Skin founder, Dr. Yannis Alexandrides developed the special product line to not only reverse the signs of ageing but accelerate healing with a science based approach that gets serious results. Bandi also talked to bride-to-be and TWE. Lifestyle Editor, Alexandra Dudley, on what has been the most challenging and most enjoyable part of her bridal skincare prep journey. Alexandra highlighted her favourtie facials from 111SKIN sat alongside our beauty writer and MUA, Yasmin Salmon, who shared her hero products for brides and how she preps their skin like the A-Listers.
The night continued with a seated dinner, beef carpaccio and baby dover sole was served, paired with Belle Époque Rosé 2013. The table was styled by Lavinia Stewart-Brown, set with the dreamiest Maison Margaux tableware amidst jaw-dropping all-white florals by Flowerbx. Little touches like personalised bows from Gigi & Olive were placed on menus with bespoke sketches by Flourish and Plume. TWE.’s favourite DJ Scarlette Lapidus set the tone with some fun evening beats chosen from her Wedding Edition Playlist.
