As the latest bridal fashion collections drop, we hosted a special reader event with British designer Andrea Hawkes, at one of our favourite members clubs in London, AllBright, in Mayfair. Andrea Hawkes is known for her fashion-forward style and sustainable focus, this was a one-off wedding dress showcase like no other. Andrea Hawkes is a London based designer, her bridal showroom is set back from the hustle and bustle of Upper Street and Camden passage. A personal, relaxed and private space for brides to visit with their guests – it’s meant to feel like a home away from home, and it does. TWE’s Fashion Editor, Alessandra Frame, interviewed Andrea on her latest collection previewed at the event. Two beautiful models worked the room in Andrea’s designs, showcasing the new looks. Andrea’s studio team and seamstress took centre stage on the evening, demonstrating the process of having your dress made at their Islington showroom and studio.
An intimate crowd of chic brides-to-be gathered at the rooftop lofty location in Mayfair, where the beats were blasting thanks to MY MUSO who organised for Lilah Parsons to hit the decks. Lillet Spritzes were accompanied by delicious Vegan canapés. Alongside, the brides-to-be tried the latest products from Bobbi Brown, renowned for creating the ultimate bridal glow and always giving a flawless, natural finish, alongside top London Salon, Neville Hair and Beauty who were styling the perfect bridal looks on our readers. Nail gurus OPI were also on site offering manicures using their vibrant Nature Strong, vegan polish range.
After an evening of celebrations, guests left with Andrea Hawkes totes full of beauty essentials from Bobbi Brown and OPI, plus blow-dry vouchers from Neville Hair and Beauty and exclusive wedding package from the Wedding Present Company and more.
