Isabella and Lucas Milone Morley met on a Saturday morning at the Palm Beach Yacht Club in 2020. Five years later, on their usual Labour Day beach walk, he proposed. Step inside their dream Amalfi Coast wedding – with a ring to match.
The Story So Far
We met at the Palm Beach Yacht Club on a Saturday morning in 2020 and have been inseparable ever since. After five years together, he proposed at our favourite beach in Palm Beach, Florida – on our usual Saturday morning walk over Labour Day weekend, with our Goldendoodle, Nobu, at our feet.

The Ring
The ring was made by our family jeweller in Miami, Jimmy Quiroga of JQ Designs: a princess-cut centre diamond surrounded by baguette and round channel-set diamonds, set in yellow gold. My band is also a JQ custom design – a two-tone diamond eternity band.

The Venue
We married at the Anantara Convento di Amalfi on 20th August 2025 – one of the most breathtaking Amalfi Coast wedding venues. It is a former convent built into the cliffs, with stone cloisters, panoramic views over the Mediterranean and a stillness that modern hotels simply cannot manufacture. It had true Italian charm.

The days before were equally considered. On the 18th we hired three boats and spent the day on the water with friends and family, lunching at Conga di Sogno. The following evening, guests arrived in white to our welcome party at Lido Degli Artisti – a beach club where gold accents played against the rocky shoreline and the warm light of the Amalfi night.

The wedding dinner was held under the pergola at the Anantara – patterned linens, gold accents, soft blooms and the Mediterranean spread out below us. Every detail, from the table linens to the hand-painted leaves and ceramic pieces, was made by local artisans.

Fashion
For the welcome party, I wore head to toe Dolce and Gabana in maiolica print.

My wedding dress was the Hopkins by Pronovias – a flared silhouette with a sweetheart neckline and open back, worn with a Toni Federici veil and Prada shoes. For something blue, I had custom ‘I do’ underwear made by hand. After the ceremony I changed into the Heile Pants and Tank Set by Kyha Studio. My husband wore a custom Brooks Brothers suit with Magnanni loafers and a Jack & Miles feather bow tie.

Jewellery
I wore a Jimmy Quiroga tennis necklace and diamond earrings.
Tablescape

The welcome party was informal but considered: white and gold against the natural textures of a private Amalfi beach, with custom details drawn from Italian culture. For the wedding dinner, we worked closely with local artisans on everything – tablecloths, chandeliers, place cards, hand-embroidered linens and unique ceramic pieces.
Food & Drinks
The welcome party ran on staple Italian cocktails – Lemon Spritz, Aperol Spritz, Espresso Martini – alongside pasta, calamari, antipasti, prosciutto e melone and eggplant flatbread. For the wedding aperitivo, the hotel created a bespoke Nobu Spritz Bar – named after our Goldendoodle, with his face printed on the napkins and drink stirrers.
Dinner began with lightly smoked beef carpaccio with giardiniera, parmesan crisp and sweet mustard mayonnaise, followed by half paccheri with Genovese sauce, then oven-baked sea bream with lemon sauce, asparagus and sautéed potatoes. We finished with ice cream and fresh fruit.

Entertainment
My bridesmaids and I walked down the aisle to Stand By Me by Florence and the Machine. I walked with my father to Daughters by John Mayer, and shared a moment with my mother to More Than a Woman. Our first dance was I’m With You by Vance Joy.
The reception moved between a curated playlist – Italian hits woven through – and a live violinist, Victor Angelov, who played into the night.

Beauty
The day before the wedding I had a facial and massage at the hotel. Simple preparation for an extraordinary day.

Honeymoon
We stayed on for two weeks after the wedding, exploring the Amalfi Coast from Ravello to Sorrento and finishing in Capri.

Advice
Invest in the right wedding planner from the start – someone established, communicative, connected in the industry and loves what they do.
Make it worth the journey for your guests. Ours travelled internationally; we tried to honour that by organising lots of gatherings for mingling, curating local recommendations and sorting transport logistics.
Simplify your decor vision: Close your eyes and ask: what atmosphere do you want to breathe, what colours do you see, what do you hear? Start there, and let everything else follow.
