The ultimate love story behind the founders…
This is a love story. A love of island life, nature, wildlife, travel, adventure and family form the bedrock of LOVE BRAND & Co. Established in 2010 as a portal to island living, the founders Oliver and Rose Tomalin, created the authority in resortwear for the discerning traveller.
Living in the Bahamas with a long family history in the islands has given LOVE BRAND & Co. the advantage in mastering island style. Refined over a decade, the brand offers a wide range of men’s and children’s resort wear. Produced in Europe; using only natural or recycled fabrics with an uncompromising attention to detail, focus on eco-conscious provenance and functional design.

Leaders in delivering exceptional product and exceptional values, the founders have redefined men’s beachwear by giving it a greater purpose.
LOVE BRAND & Co. has been dedicated since day one to promoting a peaceful and respectful co-existence with nature. Members of 1% for the Planet, the business donates a percentage of net revenue to fund and spearhead projects around the world to promote human-wildlife coexistence.
In store and online LOVE BRAND & Co. also curate and champion an edit of smaller purposeful beachwear brands, artists and artisans from around the world. Creating a definitive summer lifestyle destination all year round for the whole family.
LOVE BRAND & Co is best known for
The best beachwear in the world! Both in product and in values. We are redefining men’s swim and resortwear by giving it greater purpose and working to help save elephants and endangered species through human – nature co-existence. Everything we do at LOVE BRAND & Co. is supported by this ethos.
Our biggest achievement to date is…
We celebrated our 10 year anniversary recently and looking back at everything we have created and all the amazing projects we have supported inspired me for the next 10. I also think any business that pulled through the pandemic, especially as a travel focused brand deserves an award.
For our latest collaboration with Globe Trotter and Abercombie & Kent we were inspired by…
We joined forces to design a limited edition capsule to celebrate the legendary travel company’s 60th Anniversary. A love of travel and adventure at the heart of both brands, combined with a deep respect and admiration for the natural world was a match made in heaven and we were honoured to be chosen to help A&K celebrate such an iconic moment. Six prints were designed to celebrate six glorious decades. Each one speaks to an integral moment in the company’s history, recounting the adventures and accomplishments of A&K. 60 And Still Roaring remembers how Geoffrey Kent introduced the first mobile-tented safari with refrigeration for fresh meat, vegetables and ice in the bush. A&K redefined the safari experience with the credo, “shoot with a camera, not with a gun”. Or Egyptian Wonder recognises how A&K was the first to offer custom-built river cruises down the Nile, setting the standard for luxury cruises thereafter. This year we also had the privilege of lining a capsule of Globe-Trotter cases in our iconic ‘Elephant Palace’ print, making the ultimate luggage for the discerning honeymooner.
Our favourite pieces from the collection for honeymooners are…
Our signature Staniel swim trunks paired with our Abaco linen shirts are essential for any honeymoon that involves some down time by the beach or pool. Our Abaco linen shirts are also great for packing light and wearing unsex over a swimsuit as a boyfriend shirt. Or as we like to call it the “husband” shirt for honeymooners!
Our favourite place in the world to skip the crowds as a family is…
The Bahamas especially the outer islands of the Exumas. We have family history here and nowhere makes me feel more relaxed or indeed provides me with so much inspiration for our collections.
As a brand we’re committed to ‘giving back’ by…
Since day one, LOVE BRAND & Co. has donated a percentage of its revenue – not profit – to wildlife charities helping conserve wild elephants and other endangered species. 10 years on, we are directly funding and spearheading amazing projects around the world that we know have tangible impact. We are passionate about promoting human-elephant coexistence, and we are proud of the award-winning conservation work of Dulu Borah in the Karbi Foothills, Assam. He was recently highlighted in David Attenborough’s latest documentary.
The bricks and mortar experience is important to us at LOVE BRAND & Co because ….
It is the physical embodiment of our values. We wanted to bring our founding pillars of island life, sustainability, conservation and family all under one roof creating a definitive summer lifestyle destination all year round for the whole family. Our London stores in Chelsea, Westbourne Grove and Marylebone have become a portal to island life while championing brands with strong values. Alongside our own beachwear we are curating an edit of smaller purposeful beachwear brands, artists and artisans from around the world.
Where do you get your inspiration from with your designs?
My travels, and most often from the natural world. I design our prints with stories in mind. Our product is a canvas for telling stories from the natural world and helping keep saving endangered species and habitats on the agenda.
And finally, what’s next for LOVE BRAND & Co….
We are taking our one-stop-holiday-shopping concept global and opening stores and island outposts at our favourite hot spots around the world. The first will be at Island Outpost at Pine Cay in Turks & Caicos, where there a number of private homes and a very special hotel on a beach of dreams and a perfect spot for a honeymoon!
