Ellen’s love for craftsmanship and her keen eye for colour, pattern, and fit result in dresses that not only flatter but also offer comfort from day to night. LexyLondon champions slow fashion, collaborating with small, local manufacturers who value their skilled workers. Whenever possible, fabrics are organic and feature Ellen’s bespoke hand block printed patterns. By producing in small batches, they ensure each piece remains exclusive and avoid waste and overproduction.

With a team of three women, each with different body shapes, no design is approved until all of us are completely satisfied. Turning an idea into a successful company with a dedicated following of wonderful clients has been an incredible journey. When we decided to start a dress brand, we had no knowledge or connections in the field, just a strong belief that we could create better designs at reasonable prices. Seven years later, with the help of my two great friends and co-workers, we have built something that truly holds a place in today’s market.

Colour, always colour and pattern. We draw inspiration from vibrant fabrics and stunning hues, much like the amazing textiles from La Double J and the beautiful patterns from D’Ascoli homewares. We find inspiration in unexpected colour combinations, whether it’s in a garden or from seeing someone on the street who has put together an outfit in a clever way. These moments of inspiration fuel our creativity and help us bring fresh, lively designs to our collection.

Our new linen collection. This is our first foray into serious party dresses. Both the Victoria and the Dalia dresses have specific pattern placements and are incredible dresses for an affordable price. They will be the perfect solution for so many of our client’s party dress requirements.
