Clo&flo is owned and run by two sisters; passionate about hair and Pilates and a love for driving wellbeing. Flo, a professional hairstylist and Clo, a clinical Pilates Instructor.
Our ethos is simple: ‘To perform your best, feel good from the inside out’
Clo&Flo evolved organically, born into a family of hairdressing with parents that owned shops throughout our youth, we saw first hand what it took to run a business. We both knew early on that we wanted to have a business together and whilst we both moved in different directions initially, we eventually found out way back and merged our skill sets to form clo&flo.
We love working in our industry because:
We meet so many people from all walks of life and through Pilates and hair we can have a positive impact on how our clients feel and we find it so rewarding.
At Clo & Flo we are best known for:
Our signature wavy blowdriy & balayage
Our top tip for any bride would be:
To maintain the condition of your hair in the lead up to the wedding by booking in for regular treatments and ideally cuts every 3 months.
My top tip for any groom would be:
Don’t leave finding a hairdresser that is familiar with cutting your hair until the last minute! Go with a hairdresser that has cut it on several occasions in the lead up, so you know what to expect of your haircut just before the wedding.
The hair trends we’re loving are:
A slick back pony tail or if we’re talking bridal hair an undone low hair bun as we the love the contrast of a more relaxed look against the detailing of the dress.
We decided to combine Pilates with hair at the salon because:
Flo does hair and Clo teaches Pilates and we always wanted to have a business together.
We are going green in the salon by:
We are doing lots by going green from recycling hair & foils to paperless receipts. We use a lot of ecological products and have ranges of hair product and brands in the shop that are sustainable and as a brand/business are really taking care of the planet.
And finally, what’s next for Clo & Flo:
We would love to have our own product line and grow the brand further. We are also currently working with a charity that builds wells for clean water in Africa. We’d love to do more with them or one day have our own charity!
