Never has there been a more exciting time to be a bride, in a once limited arena, the bridal world has exploded in recent years with an array of emerging designers catering to the modern bride. We have also seen an influx of established fashion houses such as Giambattista Valli, Emilia Wickstead and Erdem adding bridal capsules to their offering.
Perhaps most revolutionary of all is how many brands are now offering an off the rail ready-to-wear approach, making that big decision a little bit less daunting and more accessible.

Danielle Frankel

Vera Wang alumni Danielle Frankell emerged onto the scene in 2017 and has very quickly established herself with fashion forward brides looking for modern, elegant design with an editorial edge.
I love the clean lines of this ‘Leona’ stretch cady off the shoulder gown, with its delicate grosgrain straps and the extended tulle overlay. It also has an internal bustier and corset to enhance the female form. It has an effortless romantic ease to it.

Is it even a bridal round up without Mira Zwillinger? The Israeli brand continually delivers season after season with an ultra feminine couture like approach to bridal. So needless to say she features firmly on the most stylish wedding dresses for 2022!
The ‘Fifi’ dress from the most recent SS 2022 collection is ethereal and whimsical in its design and totally encapsulates the magic of the brand, with its sunburst pleated motifs and crystal details. The cape like many of the brands ‘add on’s’ lends a contemporary touch to a classic design.
RASARIO
‘Tiffany’ dress £2275
There has been an undying bow trend in the bridal industry in recent years and this one feels like a particularly fresh take. This elegant dress has a contemporary twist with cut out detailing and graduated bows that draw the waist in.
Rasario’s bridal offering is well priced with a vast array of trend led designs all very deserving of being included in the most stylish wedding dresses for 2022!
So many in fact I was hard pushed to pick a favourite!
Chana Marelus

Another Israeli brand making waves in the bridal industry and delivering a couture approach to bridal is Chana Marelus. Chana’s creations are delicate and intricate and exude femineity.
I absolutely love the high neckline ruffles on this tulle A-line gown which features a beaded striped bodice cascading down to a semi sheer overlay. It is the perfect mix of high fashion and timeless elegance.
Costarellos
Christos Costarellos prides himself on connecting elements from the past and making them relevant to the present. The future facing brand and it’s ready to wear bridal collections are designed with the modern woman in mind and they really deliver.
The ‘Melina’ dress from the Spring 2022 Collection feels like the perfect uptown wedding dress with its thigh high slit, lace ruffles, button down detailing and cinched waist belt.

Everything this brand produces is pure romance and this tiered chantilly lace gown with cascading bow tie straps and sweeping train perfectly exemplifies their aesthetic. It could suit all manner of weddings whether it be an uptown ceremony or bohemian beach wedding.

Everything this brand produces just looks like a good time is to be had! They achieve the perfect balance between chic and sexy.
This ‘Sevilla’ dress was worn by Galvan Co-Founder Katherine Holmgren to her 2016 Spanish wedding, what more does one need to certify this look? Made up of Panels of lace lined with silk crepe de chine and completed with a scalloped slit to show just the right amount of leg! This dress may not be one of the brands newest designs, but it has staying power and is currently exclusive to Net-a-Porter.

Giambattista Valli has just launched the House’s first ever bridal collection. The eponymous Maison has conceived an exclusive capsule collection of 17 dreamy bridal looks, ranging from shorter silhouettes to evening gowns and sharply tailored suiting.

The pearl emblazed ‘Eileen’ dress is certain to leave a lasting impression with its fluffy cloud like billowing sleeves. Made from a soft tulle and double lined with 100% silk it is perfectly Fitted at the bodice with a train that cascades through the center back.
