From a chance swipe on Hinge in 2019 to an instant connection that led to an intimate civil ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall, step inside Annabelle Hoy and Callum Stewart’s beautifully personal London wedding celebration.
The story so far
We met all the way back in 2019! It was just when dating apps were becoming more and more popular, and having never given them a try (with some strong encouragement from my girlfriends), I decided to download Hinge. I didn’t love the idea of meeting someone online, but decided to give it a try and go on one date.
Lo and behold, that one date was with my future husband! We had an instant connection and it felt like we’d known each other for years. Our second date was the next day, our third the day after, and before we knew it we were attached at the hip.

Venue
For our civil wedding, the Old Marylebone Town Hall was always the one for us. We have walked past it dozens of times and always imagined having our civil ceremony there. We had a really intimate civil service as our main wedding is more extravagant, so we chose the Marylebone room and tied the knot in front of 12 of our closest family members. It was so special.

Fashion
I had a two piece set made by Ossatura. The most incredible ivory silk corset and mini skirt, finished with beautiful embroidery and a silk bow. It fit me like a glove and was exactly the girly mini I dreamed of. I paired the dress with the most perfect Chanel court shoes that I found in Paris. I finished off the look with a mini white Chanel bag, diamond earrings and a diamond tennis bracelet that Callum bought for me as a wedding gift, as well as a sapphire ring borrowed from my mum as my “something blue”! Callum wore a custom suit by Dee Graham, a tailor based in his home town in Ireland. He went for a vintage inspired double breasted grey suit, and it was absolutely perfect.

Jewellery
Really I just wore diamonds!! Pretty much all my diamonds are courtesy of Callum and custom made by our favourite jeweller Dovi, aka“Londonjeweller”.
Transportation
After our ceremony we jumped into a few black cabs and headed to The Devonshire’s private dining room where we had a gorgeous meal with our family. Being two days before our main wedding, it served as a kind of welcome event for our families. It was so perfect.

Beauty regime & wellness
The incredible Michael Grey did my hair using L’oreal Paris. As just the most perfect finishing touch, he created a half up half down look with a bow made from my own hair to match my dress. I did my own makeup which felt so perfect for me, and I was so happy how it turned out.

With thanks
